About:How to Choose China Train Ticket Types?

I want to go to Beijing from Shanghai on 30 September on a D-type day train (depart 11am from Shanghai) but I am afraid about the rush (due to national day ahead) or should I go for the sleeper? Can someone suggest please.

For one D train from Shanghai to Beijing departing around 11am, only the train D32 is suitable. However, on this train only hard and soft seats are available, no sleepers are equipped. Anyway, to get the tickets, you would better buy the tickets in advance.
