About:Chengdu City Bus

Hello Sir/Madam,

I got very helpful tips from this page for my trip to visit Leshan Buddha, thanks to Mr. Manny!

Please show me how to get from Chengdu airport (CTU) to Tianfu Square by bus/train, please. I stay at City Inn Kuan-zhai Lane hotel - 城市客棧寬窄巷子店, and I think the hotel is close to Tianfu Square.

From the airport, please take the shuttle bus and get off at its terminal of Minshan Hotel. Your hotel is located about 4.5km away from the bus terminal, so please hire a cab driving there then.

Thank you, Mr. Hank! I'd like to ask you two more questions, please.

1. Do you know the name or number of the shuttle bus from airport to Minshan hotel?

2. Since I do not speak Chinese, I try not to take a taxi/cab. I can walk a bit. From the station at Mishan hotel can I take another bus or train to a station close to Tianfu Square?

If you and anyone who has knowledge, please help. Thank you so much!

1. there is only one shuttle bus line at the airport, you will not miss it
2. I haven't found a direct bus between these two locations. Actually, I don't think it is easier to take a bus. You could write down the hotel name and address in Chinese and then show it to the driver, just like most foreigners do here.

Someone told me just to take the shuttle bus and get off at Minshan hotel (Tianfu Square), then walk a bit to the City Inn Kuan-Zhai Lane hotel. I don't know if it's too far to walk, but I'll give it a try since I have just a small luggage.

Do you know what time the first bus runs from Tianfu Square to Chengdu airport? My flight from Chengdu to Hongkong departs at 7:20am in the morning.
