1. there is only one shuttle bus line at the airport, you will not miss it
2. I haven't found a direct bus between these two locations. Actually, I don't think it is easier to take a bus. You could write down the hotel name and address in Chinese and then show it to the driver, just like most foreigners do here.

Someone told me just to take the shuttle bus and get off at Minshan hotel (Tianfu Square), then walk a bit to the City Inn Kuan-Zhai Lane hotel. I don't know if it's too far to walk, but I'll give it a try since I have just a small luggage.

Do you know what time the first bus runs from Tianfu Square to Chengdu airport? My flight from Chengdu to Hongkong departs at 7:20am in the morning.
