About:Turkish Airlines

Hi,

It's my 1st time to Hong Kong next Sept. I wld appreciate if someone can help answer my questions.
Do you know which is the most convenient and relatively cheap way to go to Royal Park Hotel from the airport? What are the opening and closing times of the fashion shops in Cheung Sha Wan? Also, are there any night shopping in Mongkok area? Where is the best place to shop for trendy office clothes (can be Korean/Japan or Hong Kong style) for executive/manager level? Thanks!

Bus E42 and A41 are both preferable, E42 is cheaper but take longer time. The shops in Cheung Shan Wan open to 20:00. In mongkok area, you can go to Ladies Market or Temple Street Night Bazaar. The best place to shop for trendy office clothes is at Lion Rock Road.

Thanks for your help. But I made a mistake with the name of my hotel. It should be Royal Plaza Hotel at the Mongkok East MTR Station. Would MTR be the best way to get there from the airport then?

Hi Lemmy, when you arrive at Hong Kong Airport, please go to take the Airport Express train and get off at Kowloon station. Just right here, you could transfer to the free bus K5 to the Royal Plaza Hotel directly.

Thanks a bunch Sisley! That was really helpful! Will start praying for good weather now cos been tracking Hong Kong's 10-day weather forecast and it shows scattered thunderstorm. Reckon it'll be a good idea to pack a few warmer clothings for my young kids aged 4 and 6? Singapore's weather is usually no lesser than 30 degrees celsius on a non rainy day.

Well, please take long-sleeved jacket and trousers both for the kids and you. Actually, the outside weather is not very cold, but all of the buses, metro, department stores and restaurants are equipped with strong air-condition. The long clothes will be helpful.

Weather in Hong Kong is not cold at that time, just prepare your kids jackets, T-shirts and long pants as well as summer clothes, the jacket and T-shirts is just in case it rains and the air-conditioners in shopping malls. Temperature would be at the same level as in Singapore if it's sunny.
