About:Mount Putuo

Is it possible to make a day trip from Hangzhou to Putuoshan and back? Will it be too rush?

It will be rush. Even the self-drive traveling from Hangzhou directly to Puotuoshan takes about 4.5-5 hours,let along by public transportation.
