About:China Southern Airlines

We will travel on China Southern from Bangkok via Guangzhou to Chengdu September 23. We have confirmed reservations. Is it necessary to confirm the flight again 72 hours in advance? We will be in Myanmar at that time and contact may be difficult. Can I reconfirm by contacting your office in Los Angeles before we depart US on September 12? Please advise.

According to the International Aviation regulations, for the round-trip and connecting flight tickets, if passengers stay in the transfer place more than 72 hrs, he/ she needs to contact the airlines office 72 hrs before to reconfirm seats on the following flights. Thus, if you stay in Guangzhou less than 72 hrs, there is no need to reconfirm. Or, for sure you can double confirm your seats before leaving at Bangkok.
