About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Good day,
i have some questions regarding my chinese visa,i went to shanghai last december 2009 with L visa single entry,luckily after two weeks stay in shanghai i was offered a job and i took it so they extend my visa to one year as working,after six months working in china i went back home to philippines for a vacation,my question is,does visa still valid or do i have to apply new if i go back to shanghai?what are the requirements?would it be hard for me to re enter china again?should i apply again as tourist even if i have a work there waiting for me?im so confused,please help me what to do..thanks a lot,GOD bless.

Mr.allan, if there is 1 year residence permit on your passport, you don't need to apply for China visa again, just return to China by using the residence permit, it permits multiple entries during its validity.

I dont think he has a residence permit. Was your L visa converted to F for you to have a longer stay in china? if that is the case you can try and apply for an L or F visa pending you have all the documents needed. But from what i heard once you extend you L visas there is a big chance of being denied. i hope you get a new visa.

I think now what visa do you have? How many entries? If multiple entries , you just come to china with your passport to renew your entrance chop.
