About:Getting to Kunming

I am on my way to kunming ( from Shanghai). And I would like to go to Bangkok by Bus or Train ( no airplane) .
Any Suggestions Gould Be appreciated!

At present, there is no direct bus from Kunming to Bangkok, you need to firstly take bus to Mengla, and then take bus to Mohan Boarder, after that, pass the customs and enter Laos and apply for a visa, finally, hire a van to Thailand, after arriving at the boarder between Laos and Thailand, you can ferry to Chiang Khong, and then take bus to Bangkok.
