About:Exit Regulations of China

Hi there,
How much cash are we allowed to take when exiting China? Is 20,000RMB the maximum amount? Or is there no restriction?
Thank you.

Have restriction. Yes, it is better no more 5000USD or foreign cash in equivalence. You have to get Foreign Exchange Holding Permit from the bank if you take 5000-10000USD. Generally not allowed to exceed 10000USD. Need to declare if you take more than 20000RMB.
