About:Lanzhou Attractions

Plse advice on how to from Lanzhou to Jiuzhaigou by bus: how long, the cost, what bus, where to catch the bus, how to get to this bus station fr Lanzhou train station. Any reply would be much appreciated. I plan to do this trip on Sep 10, 2010-is the road's safe to travel? Thank you!

Lanzhou South Bus Station has one bus a day at 7am to Jiuzhaigou. Better to ask the time of that day in the bus station in advance. It need to switch buses from the railway station to the South Bus Station. Suggest you go by taxi. You will not go directly from Lanzhou to Jiuzhaigou direct without stopover on the way, would you? It is a very good route, Lanzhou - Gannan - Jiuzhaigou. There are many bueatiful monasteries, grassland and villages to see. I am alway dreaming of such a tour. If I were there, I would like to take bus from lanzhou to Xiahe (Labrang Monastery) - Langmu Monastery (sky burial) - Ruoergai Grassland (amazing scenery)- Songpan - Jiuzhaigou. The road is safe by then.
