We are visiting Hainan island on the 1 st,week of november 2010.. And looking up at the website, everywhere is beaches , i wonder what sort of footwear should we be wearing cos at that time is also winter ...can anyone please enlighten me ,Thank you

Wear sandal on the beach. You can wear your sport shoes and buy sandal in Sanya and no need to bring it back.
