i am planning to go taipei on 4 Jan 2011 for a week. Wondering what sort of activity I can do during that period?

There may be typhoon in June in Taiwan. Just pay attention to the forecasting of typhon , then you can go out to have fun, such as beach sunshine, swimming and shopping.

Generally, north part of Taiwan Island is warm as well as somewhat cool in south part in Jan. But there is no typhoon days~
