About:How to Choose China Train Ticket Types?

I am planning to travel to Beijing from Shanghai on 19 September 2010. Do you think I will be able to get train tickets in Shanghai, 3 days before departure? Or should I buy it as soon as reservation opens? Is it high season at that time?

It is not a peak season but train tickets on Shanghai-Beijing route are always very hot. Therefore, you would better buy the tickets as soon as the reservation starts like 10 days before your departure.
