About:Tianjin Transportation

Thank you Mr Gary. Tanggu District is several kilometres inland. Are you saying that the new port is not on the coast but instead it is up the river in Tanggu ? Also, as we arrive on October 4th which is a National holiday, will all the buses (No.102) be working that day - and the bullet trains from Tanggu to Beijing ? Is it easy to buy a ticket at Tanggu station ?

The new port is located in the east border of Tanggu district, lying on the sea.

Well, since there are only 4 or 5 trains from Tanggu station to Beijing, it is not suggested, especially during the peak National Holiday. Anyway, the bus will be in operation all the same.

If possible, please consider taking a cab to Tianjin Railway Station where you could purchase a train tickets on the spot. Maybe a train one or two hours later.
