About:Jade Buddha Temple

Is photography allowed in Jade Buddha temple ? From west Nanjing road how are we supposed to reach the temple ? Are there anyone in temple who can help us by speaking english ?

Yes, photography is allowed when I am there. But better do not take pic of the Buddha. It's said it will bring your good luck away to take pic of Buddhas in china.

From West Nanjing Road to the temple:you can take bus 19, 206 at west Nanjing road bus station to Jiangning Road and Anyuan Road, then walk about 40 meters to the temple.

You can hire an English tour guide to help you.

As I am new to this place , please tell me how I can get to that temple from metro . I dont mind walking too from station to the temple. which metro stop is nearest and which line is it ?

There is no metro station near the temple. If you take MTR, you still need to change to a bus and that will be a detour.

Maybe you can take a taxi, it takes about rmb15.

Just visited the Jade Buddha Temple, it was amazing! I took many pictures of the buddha statues and monks. The property where the temple sits is quite small, but quaint. Many come and burn incense and pray. You will enjoy this!

I visited too last weekend and found it great , Lots of Volunteers who can speak english also.
