About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Hiya, Just some advice needed on a Chinese Visa. I am traveling with my girlfriend through asia starting November 2010...making my way to Nepal and flying to HongKong on 11 February 2011. I then want to go from hong kong to Vietnam overland. From what I have read I will need a Chinese Visa to do this but if I apply for one whilst in the UK it will have expire by the time I get there. Am I able to get a visa for China whilst in India or even HongKong? How long does this take?

Thanks in advance,

Ant

It is possible for you to get a China visa in India or HongKong, but I advice you to apply for China visa in Hk, it takes 4 working days, for China visa application in INDIA, you have to apply for it through the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in New Delhi or Mumbai by paying for service fee. In Hk, you just need to pay for the visa fee.
