Hello!

My husband and I are visiting Shanghai next month and will stay at Holiday Inn Downtown. What are the interesting sights near the hotel? How far is Nanjing road from our hotel and how much does it cost to go there by taxi? How far is the Huangpu cruise stand from the hotel? Is there a taxi going there? How much does it cost? Does the Holiday Inn Downtown hotel have a tour desk? Where can we book cheap but safe tours in Shanghai? Thank you so much for entertaining my queries.

The hotel is not far from Shanghai Railway station, within walking distance to the Subway station of Line 1. It is 3 stops by subway from the hotel to Nanjing Road, getting off at People's Square. The hotel is close to Suzhou River. Jade Buddha Temple is about 1.5km away from the hotel. The Cuise is avalilable at Shiliupu Ferry Station next to the bund, over 7km from your hotel. Yes, you can take taxi. Taxi fare is about 25RMB. I have no idea if the hotel has tour desk. For cheap tours, you can see this:
