About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

My cousin, an American Citizen with other family members are interested to have a side trip to Shekou Shenzhen and Macau before heading back to United States as they normally travels via Hongkong flying Cathay Pacific Airlines, Is there any such thing as Visa upon arrival in Shekou Ferry Terminal at Shenzhen? do they required to have another visa once they arrive in Macau from Shekou Shenzhen? Please we need to know your advice. thank you.

American citizens can't apply for a visa on arrival in Shekou Ferry terminal at Shenzhen, they have to obtain a China visa in advance. They don't need a visa to Macau.
