About:Sera Monastery

Please provide info re bus from barkhor area to sera monastery: bus number/name and bus stop location(s), how frequently the bus operates, how long the trip takes, how much does it cost,what bus stop do you request to get off?

It seems bus No. 4 goes there. But I suggest you going by taxi. No meter in taxi in Lahsa, so you have to talk about the price. Your travel distance costs about 20RMB.

All taxis have meter but most will try to arrange a price. You just tell them that you want them to use the meter and there will be no problem. (if you don't know how to tell them just point at the meter and they will understand)
