About:China Visa

Hi,

I'm from Malaysia my husband now working in china (Shanghai)he holding Z visa,but the working visa will expired on 31/12/2010.If i go to Shanghai in Oct it is he can apply the Z visa for me.If i apply L visa to there how many day i can stay in China.

If you apply for a L visa for one month, you can stay here for one month, then we can extend it for you twice, total 3 months.

I think you can apply a dependent visa to accompany your husband working in China. But you should provide a visa notification issued by the authorized Chinese unit or proof of kinship, e.g. marriage certificate, and a copy of his Z-visa as well as Residence Permit. But his Z visa and resident permit are better to be renewed. You can also get it processed in China. The general duration of stay for an L visa is 30 days.
