About:K Trains

I will be traveling to Kunming next week. I will have three full days in Kunming; one day will be spent visiting the Shilin Forest. Is Dali close enough to Shilin for a day trip?

I think it may be hurry. There is no direct bus from Shilin to Dali. You should go back to Kunming and then to Dali. It takes about one and a half hour from Shilin to Kunming and then about 5 hours from Kunming to Dali. So one day may be short.
