Am a waiguoren living here in Luzhou with my chinese wife teaching English and wanting to connect with fellow waiguouren/expats here. Your girlfriend is correct...Luzhou is a very relaxed and enjoyable city. I'm settling in quite nicely. I'm glad you'll be visiting in January...I'm eager to make acquaintances with any foreigners here in Luzhou. Hi Mark,

I'm looking to coming to Luzhou in January after I've finished my Trinity level 5 TEFL certificate. I was teaching at Xindu number 1 middle school last semester and had to come home to sort some stuff out, and thought while I was back, I'd do the level 5. My GF is living in Luzhou now and seems to like it quite a lot. She's a newly qualified teacher. Any way, as Laowai what's your experience so far of Luzhou, any really good points and bad points. What can I expect? What's the general vibe of the city? my GF said it was quite relaxed.
