i have a female main land chinese friend in dongguan.

Question

I have a female main land chinese friend in Dongguan. She wish to apply for a HongKongID to travel to HK with me (as i have plans to visit HK).I gave her details of documents required.She has no idea as how to apply and where to apply and hence my question to you:Now my question is:To which office or agency she should apply to get a HK id?Does she has to apply to get a HK ID in Dongguan or in Guangzhou or in her Home town.?How long the chinese authorities take time to issue HK id to her for a tourist travel? Will some travel agencies in China  be apprached to get HK id ?Thank you in advance for your reply,Suru

She need not to apply a HK ID. Ask her to bring her ID card, copies of accounts and color photos to the local Public Security Bureau to get a permit certification of Hk. 14 days is enough.
