I have a female main land chinese friend in Dongguan. She wish to apply for a HongKongID to travel to HK with me (as i have plans to visit HK).I gave her details of documents required.She has no idea as how to apply and where to apply and hence my question to you:

Now my question is:
To which office or agency she should apply to get a HK id?
Does she has to apply to get a HK ID in Dongguan or in Guangzhou or in her Home town.?

How long the chinese authorities take time to issue HK id to her for a tourist travel?

Will some travel agencies in China be apprached to get HK id ?
