About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Hi,
I will travel to Japan for about 2 weeks. Above it is mentioned that 4 days are needed to get a visa for China. Do I have to get an appointment first or can I just go directly to the embassy in Tokyo and apply for Chinese visa with my German passport?
Thanks for your support!

Mr.Meier, you need not to make an appointment, just go to the Chinese embassy directly with your passport. If you have residence permit in Japan, take it with you. Or if you are short time visitor or tourist there, your entry record is required.

Thanks for your answer Mr. Duke.
What exactly do you mean with "entry record"? Entry record for Japan? Can I get this sheet at Tokyo airport?
