You should arrive at Tung Chung cable car station firstly, and then take the Ngong Ping 360 cable car to visi the Giant Buddha.
Starting from the Hotel, please take a bus (229 or others)to its next stop at Sha Tin Central Bus Terminus. Then, please transfer to bus E42 which could drive you to Tung Chung directly.

As for shopping, bargain is not accepted at these large shopping plaza or department store. But, you could have a try at these shops along Nathan Road, including clothes, shoes, jewellery and others. Don't miss the Lady Market and Mong Kok.

You could take kids to the SNOOPY World which is located in the New Town Plaza, Sha Tin, so close to your hotel by bus.
