I am travelling to China shortly, and I would like to know what is the best option for purchasing things, Visa/Master Card, Cash, Debit Card etc. Also, what is the rule to tipping, are there any expectations?

People usually purchase things with cash, some restaurants and stores accept Debit Card with Union Pay on it. People in China usually don't tip in restaurants or other places.
