They are two different provinces and there are many differences between them. You can find the differences in their culture, history, geography, dinning, climate and life customs among others. Well, the capital of Shanxi is Taiyuan City, and the capital of Shaanxi is Xi'an City where the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses is located.0
