About:Lantau Island

Hi, we are planing to visit HK in Nov and staying in royal plaza hotel(mongkok). what is the best way to the giant buddha and any nice place nearby.Is there any reasonable price local food nearby the hotel? How to go to macau from the hotel? Thanks

The best way to go to the giant buddha is to take Subway Line Tswen Wan and then change to Tung Chung Line at Lai King station, alight at Tung Chung and take Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car to the Giant Buddha.
You can go and have a try of the Temple Street Night Bazzar, it can be reached by taking Bus 87D or 281A at Diocesan Boys' School.

To Macau, you can take Subway Line Tswen Wan to Central and walk to Sheung Wan Hong Kong Macau Ferry terminal and take ferry.
