Hi there, i would like to check if it's possible to proceed to Kunjerab from Tashkurgan around Mid October. I just want to reach the border and no intention of crossing over to Pakistan. In that case do i need to apply for any permit? Also along the journey from Tashkurgan to Kunjerab any good cites for visiting and photography. thanks.

hi,Kashighar is very close to Tashkurgan , and to the Kunjerap you have to pass the kashigar.
if you are in side china inside Xinjiang no need to applye visa. if going to pass the border you have to applye Visa.

Kashigar is eincient and historical city. silk road is starts kashigar, and silk road is silk road with kashigar...............
