About:China Customs Declaration

Hi,

I want to buy a laptop for my Chinese boyfriend for his birthday and will ask my mum to ship it from USA to China.
Will I have to pay any charges when the laptop arrives in China?

Tax rate is 20 percent. You should may 800-1000RMB.

No other charges. The tax rate will be changed after September 1. Rate will be higher. Find a good post company and confirm the rate.
