Do i have regular transportation from ningbo to zhoushan island???Which island would be better option for a one night stay trip.

You can go to Ningbo North or South Bus Station and take bus to Zhoushan, to go to the island, you need to take ferry at Banshengdong Pier at Shen Jia Men, most people go to Mt. Putuoshan when going to Zhoushan, you can stay there and have a visit to the Buddhism Mountain.

Thanks!!!How long does it take to reach the island form Ningbo? Any thoughts abt Dongji...I like to hit beaches and scenic place. Does Putuoshan fit in my idea?? Thank again

The journey from Ningbo to Zhoushan island is about 3 hours. You could find very nice beaches there. The top one should be Dongji, and then the Qianbusha and Baibusha Beaches of Putuoshan. The Nansha Beach of Zhuajiajian is also nice.
