About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

I'm planning on traveling in China a couple of weeks and then crossing into Southeast Asia to travel a few months via Vietnam/Chinese border. I bought a one-way ticket because to China because that is where I want to begin my travel, although I will only stay in China for a few weeks moving south to Vietnam. I hope to get a job in Thailand once I arrive, so I'm not planning on buying a ticket back home since I'll work there once I find a job. Will I have trouble with Chinese authorities entering China or getting the tourist visa with only a one-way ticket?

Mr.Yuri, please don't worry, in my opinion, you won't be in trouble when you enter China by holding the tourist visa with only one-way ticket, the Chinese authorities generrally are not worry the overstaying of USA citizens, therefore, the return flight tickets are not checked in most situations.
