My son is traveling back to the US from Myanmar through Beijing to New York. On the way over there he was required to pass through customs in China. He will be bringing back to the US his fiance's diamond ring which he bought in the US, due to a broken engagement. How should he get the ring back through China customs? Thank you for your help!

Just put it in bandbag. No restriction on diamond ring. So he will get it back through the customs safely.
