Shanghai Nanpu Bridge bus station in Puxi has regular buses to Zhujiajian (Shenjiamen Station), 5 hours. Then take ferry at Shenjiamen Banshengdong Wharf to Putuoshan. There is a ferrry every 15 minutes. There are buses from 8:00-18:00 from Nanpu Bridge to Shenjiamen every one hour. While back to SHanghai, about 7:00-17:00 back from Shenjiamen. In addition, you can buy speed boat ticket at the transportation center of Nanpu Bridge. There is a bus picking you up at 8am at the exit 1 of Nabpu Bridge Subway Station. Two hours later, you are sent to a ferry terminal. 2.5 hours later, you are arriving Putuoshan.
