About:China Visa

Hi, if a Malaysian studying in Singapore school, wants to go on school trip to china. She travel to and fro Singapore and Malaysia everyday. What type of documents and procedure is required if apply visa in singapore for the china school trip? Thank you.

Ms.Jessica, can you explain the scholl trip to me in details? is she invited to go to China for study or take part a project by a Chinese university or is she go to China for sightseeing?

She is taking part in a 8 days cultural exchange trip organized by school

Ms.Jessica, she can apply for China business visa for the cultural exchange trip, the requirements are:
1. One completely filled out visa application form
2. One recently taken passport photo
3. Original passport
4. Visa conformation letter from a foreign affairs office of the provincial or municipal government, the host school in China should organize it for her.
5. Singapore Study Permit.

She can submit the application to Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Singapore, then pick it up on 4th working day. The rush service takes 2 working days. I'm afraid that she can't travel to Malaysia every day during the application period because the original passport is left in the center.
