Hi there, I'm planning to travel across China and my itinerary is Beijing - Xi'An - Shanghai - Hong Kong. My questions are:1) What is the best way to travel between these cities by Train or Airplane in term of cost and enjoyment. 2) Am I able to travel the fastest train in my journey?

You can choose the best transport model according to your budget. Compared with taking flight, it costs longer time but less money by train. At present, there are two high speed rails (one Xian-Zhengzhou, the other Wuhan-Guangzhou) within China. The fastest train is the non-stop trains (train No. beginning with Z) on the Beijing - Xi'an - Shanghai - Hong Kong routes.
