About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

Dear sir,I'm a sri lankan national live in uk.I wanted to get tourist visa to visit hong kong and china.When I rang the embasy they adviced me to go back to sri lanka and apply because I have my uk visa for another 5 monts.Could you please advice me.Thanks.

yes, if you want to apply for Hong Kong visa in UK, your Uk visa should be valid for at least 6 months. You have to return to Sri Lanka to apply for Hong Kong visa or send the Hong Kong visa application directly to the Immigration Department of Hong Kong.
