Here is a good way for individual visitors from Huangshan to Qiandao Lake. There is a regular bus at 5am from Tangkou (Huangshan) to Shedu Ferry of Shexian County, two hours. Then take the ship at about 7:40am to Qiandao Lake. The journey is about 4-5 hours. The advantage is you can save the expensive ticket of Qiandao Lake because there is a good view on the ship. Save the money to take cruise ship when you arrive in the lake. After all, the scenery is the same as you see from Shendu.1
