About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I am planning to visit China and hope to visit Tibet with some friends. Do I need to get a double entry visa to China?

Not a double entry visa to China, but a Tibet Travel Permit together with a tourist visa to China. Individual tourists are not permitted to enter Tibet, so you need to join in a travel agency, they will handle this entry permit for you and your friends.

No. Tibet is a place of China.so it is not necessary to do the 2 entries.
