About:Great Wall Travel - 8 Key Concerns

We are visiting Beijing in December (freezing cold), so what is the best way to travel to see the Great Wall. There are 7 of us including a baby, is it easy to go ourselves or do you recommend a tour. If so, which one do you recommend?

If you travel alone, the best way is to take bus 919快 at Deshengmen to Badaling. I think it is easy and I found detailed instruction here:
