About:China Weather

I am travelling to China from 9 - 29.9.. Beijing 10.9. - 17.9., Xian 17.9., Yangtze River cruise from Chongqing - Yichang 19.9. - 22.9.and Shanghai 22.9. - 29.9.. What is the climate at this time of the year in these areas and will the monsoon season / flooding have subsided by 22.9.? Also will the Shanghai - Nanjing high speed rail link be operational when I am in Shanghai? What is the cost of a return ticket to Nanjing?

The raining season will stop at that time. It will be warm and wear T-shirt, prepare a light jacket too. The high speed rail line has been opened a few days ago. So, you can take it when you come in September. The costs is 146RMB for single way.
