I am a Sri Lankan working in Hong Kong currently. I sponsored my parents for a 60-day stay in HK (double entry to HK with 30 days on each entry). This means, they have to leave HK in 30 days and re-enter in order to get the visa for 2nd 30 days activated. Therefore, our plan was to visit Macau. After they arrived in HK on 21July10, I was advised about the latest travel restrictions to Macau on Sri Lankan pp holders. Therefore, now they need to obtain visa prior to enterting Macau. However, since they are in HK currently, visa for Macau cannot be applied from Sri Lanka. They have visited Macau before. My question is, can they apply for Macau visa (we need it only for 1 day) from HK? We can provide all documents (eg: return ticket to Sri Lanka, proof of past visit to Macau etc)with the application. Really appreciate if someone could advise me on this matter. Thanks so much !
