About:Marco Polo Memorial Museum

Hi, i am a Indian currently residing in Guangzhou, i have a single entry Z visa which is valid just for about a month as my agent will apply for my resident permit & permanent Z visa for me. I want to know with this current Z visa can i invite my wife to come to China ? What are the documents which i need to send for her visit. Pls advise.

You can't use your present Z visa to invite your wife to come to China, the copy of your residence permit and work visa and work permit are required when your wife apply for a China visa.

If she wants to apply for the Dependant Visa, you should also send her the related note, letter or visa notification (should be used within 6 months since its issuing date) issued by an authorized unit or documents proving their status as dependents.

Thanks for your timely reply Mrs.Edward ! If the above is not possible what are the options i have other than waiting for 1 month, is it possible she can come on a F visa here & later i convert that into a dependent Z visa ? Pls advise. Thanks !

It is almost impossible for you to convert a F visa to a dependent Z visa in China, and she still need documents to apply a F visa,

1. A letter of invitation from China or an original notice of visa authorization

2. Covering letter from applicant's company or employer addressed to the visa office.

Hi Mrs Edward,
I have a situation where my chinesee employee company is handling my working visa and permit. Then they will send it to me and \i will go to embassy in Bratislava. My question is if my wife can go with me, how can she apply for some kind of dependent visa as my wife and how long does it take for her to get the visa. I want her to come with me on some kind of visa that she can stay longer not just tourist. thx

you need provide her your residence permit, work visa and work permit, Proof of relationship and an original Visa Notification issued by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The general visa processing time is 4 working days. The dependent visa is for family members accompanying you, so, it has longer duration of stay. Other documents are required by the visa officers if necessary.
