About:China Tourist Visa

Is it true that China Embassy here in the Philippines requires a Tourist visa applicant to show bank statement amounting to PhP300,000(minimum)? Is this an updated policy? Thanks

Ms.Deng, I also hear this piece of news, the amount of the bank statement is up to the judgement of the visa officer, I want to check the information with embassy, I called the embassy for many times, however, nobody picks it up, how frustrating!
