About:Karakuri Lake and Stone City

Can anyone tell me how to get to Karakul Lake from Kashgar? Also is it advicable to go there in October?

October is fine, better to go early this month. It is still warm in Kashgar, but need to bring warmer clothes to the lake area. If the weather is nice that day, you will fully enjoy the scenery there.
