About:China Civil Aviation - Tickets & Departure

Friends of mine purchased round-trip tickets in Phnom Penh to Los Angeles and flew to the USA with confirmed seats for the whole trip. However, when they called China Airlines in Los Angeles several days ago to reconfirm their flight back on August 5, they were told that their names had been cancelled by China Airlines in the US and were given no reason for the cancellation. How can they learn the reason for the cancellation and get their seats back for the flight on August 5?

Maybe the flight is canceled. I think you need to call the airlines again to get the reason. They are supposed to do so.

As per the iata rules i think if they cancelled your tickets by themselves without any prior notice to you then they must give you the same amount of your purchased ticket as a free voucher so that you can travel any destination with the given amount in voucher anywhere.other than the ticket which you have with you.
