hello. anyone can give me information about going to xining?

Hello. Anyone can give me information about going to Xining? At first i would like to travel by myself but as i decide from  some factors i think it's better to buy a tour such as One Day trip. I will go to Xining on Aug 17. I'd like to visiting Qinghai Lake, Bird Island, Sun and Moon Hill, i think these all places are near to each other. Besides, i've heard that Tai Er Temple is good to go same as Dongguan Mosque. I hope to get some recommendation soon.. Thanks for your help..

Hi, when come to Xining, remember to bring you some coats and other thick clothes, the temperature would chage a lot in one day. So warm clothes are must. When coming, remember to bring yourself some sun lotion, the sunray on the plateau is very strong, as you can see, local people's faces are all very red.

You could participate in a one-day tour of Qinghai Lake and the Bird Island. If possible, please hire a van with others to visit the lake so that you could arrange time well.Dongguan Mosque is in downtown Xining, never miss. Taer Temple is a Tibet monstery, having totally different culture from from the Dongguan Mosque. Please hire a cab driving there. The fare should no more than 150RMB/round-trip

Not very sure about the tour quote. Usually, the Qinghai Lake, the Bird Island and some activities will be included in. Maybe you have to bring lunch and snack with you. Please choose a reliable agent, escape from these unbelievable cheap tour.Well, three days will be enough for you to visit these places you mentioned. One day to Qinghai Lake, one day to Taer Temple and last day in downtown area to Dongguan Mosque.

Thanks a lot!! Your reply really helps me lots... I plan my tour as arriving Xining by train and then go to Dongguan on that day by Bus and visit the nightlife. hehe!! Then let's see how another day will be...
