About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Hello,
I am a UK national and want to get a tourist visa to China.
I live in seoul, can I go to the Embassy in Gyeongbokgung to order a visa?
Or do I have to use a travel agency?
As i read your information and you say you can't go to the Consular office in Myeong-dong. Is that correct?

Im leaving in 1 week so need to know what to do asap!

Many thanks!

Mr.Louie Northey, You can't go to the China embassy in Seoul to apply for China visa, you have to apply for it through a travel agency designated by the consular office of the embassy.

If you don't have an Alien Registration Card valid for 6 months, you can't get a China visa.

I can't understand your the Embassy in Gyeongbokgung or the Consular office in Myeong-dong.
