About:Qingdao Travel

We are planning to go QingDao for a short break next month, bringing our children (6 and 2 years old) along. Wondering whether:-
- most of the attractions are baby-stroller-friendly?
- do you think we can visit Mt. Laoshan with 2 young kids? (minus the stroller of course)
- how much time roughly if we wish to cover the Badaguan area? lots of walking?

Many thanks.

1. It is ok to travel with kids in downtown area, no rough or lots of roads.
2. Not a good idea to the mountain with little kids.
3. Not very much walking unless you are willing to finish the whole scenic area. Usually 2 hours to an half days is enough.

Dear Jack,
Thanks for the reply.

Is there a ropeway in LoaShan? Very little info on this when I tried to google. If yes, possible to bring the kids?

Also, apart then the HuaShiLou and GongJuLou, any other interesting to see?

Thanks.

Yes, there three ropeways built in Laoshan. You could go there with kids, however, it is suggested that you hire a van driving to Laoshan from Qingdao since the public bus is not comfortable for kids and elder.

In Badaguan Area, you could also visi the 2nd Bathing Beach, 1& 5 of Shanhaiguan Road, Badaguan Hall, Juyongguan Road and the Garden of Song's Family.

Thank you for your information, it is a great help in my planning.

What is interesting about the 1 & 5 ShanHaiGuan Road?

Hi JV, the No.1 and No.5 of Shanhaiguan Road are two exotic buildings. The former one is in the style of the Renaissance, which was built in 1933. The No. 5 is a Japanese style building, covering a large area.
