About:Passport

I am a china passport holder and a permanent resident of the philippines(born and raised here).I have never step foot to china and I am planning to visit shanghai, macau,beijing and hongkong. Do i need to apply for a visa? where? In addition, can i also have the opportunity to work in China?

Moreover, my china passport will expire in 2011, what are the requirements needed for the renewal? are there forms in english since i do not speak nor write chinse dialect?

You don't need a visa to Shanghai or Beijing, but you need to apply for entry permit to Hong Kong and Macau. You have the opporpunity to work in China.

The requirements for renewal of Chinese passport in Manila is:
1. Chinese Passport Application Form
2. three passport photos
3. ACR and ICR and their copies
4. the original China passport you hold and its copy.

If you want to come to China, you should have a visa
Yes, of course you can work in China, however you should hold a Z visa.
I think you should apply for a L visa at first, travel around China, then convert the L visa to Z visa, work in China.

@monica, He has a chinese passport and so considered a chinese national. ergo he doesnt need any visa to work or travel to china.
