About:Passport

Hi, I need to go to HK in August so I don't lose my HK PR status, travelling on a British passport from Australia (where I am also a PR). My passport runs out in Dec (less than six months) - do I need to renew before I go? I will be in HK about 10 days. Thanks for your help.

You don't need to renew your passport before you go, the passport with at least 6 months is required for HK visa application, you don't need to apply for Hk visa, the passport with 1 month beyond your stay in Hk is accepted by Hk immigration officer.
